VT Valle De Cinca Wine
The Cinca Valley wine region, included within the Wines of the Land of Aragon, is located in the province of Huesca, encompassing a total of fifteen municipalities, among which the municipality of Monzón and all the shire of the Litera stand out.
Wines produced in Valle del Cinca cover a wide range, which includes white, rosé and red wines. By means of this they are trying to get a share of the market and carry wines that match consumers’ preferences.
The major strains in Valle del Cinca are Macabeo, Chardonnay, Garnacha Tinta, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, these cultivars complemented by those of Cabernet Franc, Chenin, Graciano, Mazuela, Moristel, Muscat of Alexandria, Parraleta, Pinot Noir and Syrah.
